Initial configuration

Before getting to dealing with customers, there are a few configurations to make. First, open the Scrap Golem app on your device. Open the navigation drawer by clicking on the three lines in the top left. Then click on settings to open the settings screen. From there, click on "Organization" to customize your organization. Make sure your business name is correct and add your address, phone number, and business email address. The rounding interval is used to round your transactions. Set it to "1" to round to the nearest dollar, "0.25" to round to the nearest quarter, or "0.01" to round to the nearest cent. Set the "Signature message" to what your want your customer to see when they sign a ticket.

Commodities

Next, you'll want to customize your categories and commodities by following this guide.

Cameras

You can customize your camera view from the settings. Camera settings are saved per device so you can access the appropriate camera at each location.

Prices

Finally, set up your prices. Open the navigation drawer as before and click on "Prices". For each commodity you can set the current price. These prices can be integrated into your website. Please contact support for help with setup.
